Personality:
Motyo used to be an easy-going dog with loads of energy. She loved her family and friends with a fierceness that nothing could take away. And although she still does, her life has been forced into a miserable drag. She is nonetheless, still friendly, caring, brave, and protective of loved ones, but there's a ghost that haunts the dog. The ghost has forced Motyo into being a bit unstable, wary, and depressed.Description:
Miserable and feeling alone in the world, Motyo has not a spark of hope and shows none. She knows there's nothing to live for anymore as well. She lost everything, and she lets it show. She can be snappy and reluctant to tell about her past so she doesn't get angry with them and let another fresh flow of hurt get to her again. Though as all moms are, she can't help but to feel proud of her pups, no matter how far. She knew they were probably miles and miles away, but that didn't matter.
She is also still willing to meet new dogs, however. She knows that none will ever be like her past love, but she knows she has to be open to that. Every day, she feels more and more confident about knowing she has to let the past go. Hakuna Matata, she assumes. SO, every day she lets the past go a little at a time. But nonetheless, she still has her family and friends she had to leave behind in the bottom of her heavy, tired heart.
Like all Hungarian Mudis, Motyo has curly fur. It's short on the head and the front of her legs, while behind her ears is long and wavy. The fur on the side of her neck is especially curly, along with the fur on her tail, chest, and the fur on the back of her thigh. The erst of the fur is a moderate curly, and even a bit wavy in parts. Her fur is also a pitch black. There is no hint of other coloring in her fur, or anywhere else in her except on her eyes of course. Her paw pads are black, her nails are black, her nose is black, and her eyes are black.History:
Motyo's ears are erect. They are are long and pointy, and stand almost straight up on the top of her head. Her eyes are almost completely almond shaped, but they have a bit of roundness to them. She isn't stocky, and she isn't slim. In fact, she is more slim then stocky. Her shoulders and thighs are muscular, while her stomach is tucked in slightly. Unlike half of the Mudi population, Motyo's tail hangs down instead of curling over her back. It is extra furry, at the end, kind of like a poodle, but with long fur covering it and instead of a pall, more of an oval and not such a defined sphere.
Motyo was born in a house in Lake Arrowhead, California. She had two brave parents and a brother. They were the house's beloved pets and guard dogs. One day, when young Motyo was about 5 months old, a grizzly bear attacked them while guarding the house. Her parents and brother were killed, and all she could do was run as the rain started pouring down. When she made it to the house, she scratched desperately at the door and yelped loudly in terror. The shocked owners let her in and a week later, found ot what happened. So they buried their dead dogs and moved to a small apartment.Mate: Takoda (lost forever)
Motyo lived in that cramp apartment for 5 months. She was sick and tired of having no room, and how her owners were still mopey about what happened. She was sad for her family, too, but she quickly moved on.So on her first birthday, when she was let out to go to the bathroom, she ran and jumped the brick wall surrounding the place and ran.
For a couple of years, Motyo roamed the streets. She moved from place to place, and learned the ways of a stray from others. Some helped her, some tried to pick a fight with her, and some just ignored her and let her absorb how to do something. So, she lived to three years old, and lived to meet a life she never knew she could ever have. So when she moved into the own of Mushroom Grove, Motyo had a feeling that something great was going to happen, especially after meeting a handsome dog named Takoda on the beach.
So, she found the dog again, on his ranch. They talked for hours until he had to go back. Then, she saw him again, and she was captured by the pound. However, James, Takoda's owner, rescued her and she then lived with them on the ranch. There were other dogs there, too. Jay and Lalita. But Motyo didn't mind and she rather enjoyed their company. She also enjoyed the ranch life. And she fell in love with Takoda. Before they knew it, Motyo was expecting puppies.
So a couple months later, on Thanksgiving day, Motyo gave birth to eight healthy puppies. She loved them fiercely, and the ranch grew to love them too. They grew up so fast that the new mother couldn't believe her eyes. Before she knew it they were outside with her, exploring and wanting to help with the cattle. And when they were about 7 months, she was going to show them the cattle. But she was tossed off guard when two men in a black truck came and stole her. The puppies were unharmed and safe when she left in the back of that truck, but she couldn't help but remembering the awful yelps of terror her puppies gave off as she was towed away.
While in the truck, Motyo heard them talk. She couldn't understand much, but she understood the two words together, "Dog fights" and she knew she had to escape now. She knew that dog fights were trouble, and she heard about them from strays, saw scars. One even showed her one before. They were awful, and clever Motyo escaped when the vehicle stopped.
For days she traveled and became very sick. Two young foxes saved her life when she was in the woods, and she knew she couldn't thank them enough. So, she moved on until she found another place. For a while, she stayed. She met a dog that helped her see she needed to move on, and she knew she did. She had plans the next time she would meet that dog, but it never happened, so she left the town.
Again, she traveled. She was so tired and even though she wasn't even four yet, she felt old. Her whole body ached, and she knew she had to find somewhere to stay. So at last, she found a town that seemed decent. The pound picked her up first hour in town, cared for her for about two weeks, and then put her up for adoption. She heard stories from the others about how most dogs were fixed, but she realized they didn't fix her. A couple days later, a woman came in and picked her up. The lady looked her over as soon as they got home, and noticed a nick in her ear. She searched it, and found out were she used to belong and on a ranch site, found her whole history of that farm, her name, age, and more. The lady was in tears when she turned to look at the dog. "Poor girl. You must have gone through a lot if you're thousands of miles from home. But I have been looking for a Mudi all my life. I am not giving you up." Motyo only understood the tears, but nothing else. She lived her miserable life here now with a itchy collar and consent learning of new things. She just hoped she'd be let out again one day to explore, and though unlikely, find home.
