By now, Night Howler is a bigger and more older pup. "Uh Oh" said Night Howler, for he saw a big hunting dog coming there way, and he saw his master close behing with a gun. "Good thing I'm a dog huh? Or the pack would be dead" Night Howler said to himself. So Night Howler did his job:keeping away hunters and strangers. "Woof!" Barked Night Howler at the hunter, wagging his tail happivly. The hunter took one glance and saw he was a dog. The hunter wasn't alarmed and moved on. When he was out of sent and seeing range, he howled to the pack "Alls well" And went back to the den.

After licking a cub with nook, and doing his job, Night Howler grew tired:making sure that hunters only knew he was there:a dog. And many times, the hunter either walked away, or offered to take him with that him. Many times he refused, even though he wanted to sooo bad. And so, one morning while doing his job, he left the pack. He was planning a brake;but he hoped the pack would accept him when he returned. Maybe they would think he was going to leave to form a new pack, or maybe he was just running away. He didn't know, but he pushed himself until he came to a stop. He heard barking in the distance. His ears rotated toward the sound, and he barked back happivly. "Woof!" he barked loudly, and ran even faster toward the. He came upon a sled dog team.
OCC:I'll be telling the story in the sled dog racing for now, until Night Howler returns to the pack :]
